Witching Hour under the arches by Zuzu

I've had one of the Triptych kits for a while but I used the large middle section (turned upsides down) to make a steampunk coat of arms.
This left me with the two smaller outer arches so I've decorated them for Halloween and joined them together to make a little ornament that can close and fold flat for storage till the following year.

The first panel I simply hand painted then added some tomb stones.

The second panel has orange scrapbook paper on it with some distressing and inking. I painted on a part of the moon and used a spiderweb (broken glass) stencil/mask on it.

I've added the words "Witching hour" after painting them and adding some eco friendly glitter glass. I coloured the little paper doll boys using alcohol ink and added a pumpkin.

To join them together I used some rusty wire and I curled the ends to mimic the curled tendrils of the pumpkins.

Halloween is one of my favourite times of year. Its certainly a favourite theme for me when it comes to crafting. I suspect I will be posting more before the big day.

See you in two weeks
