I was inspired to create a new shadow box in vintage style.
I thought of an old spartan room
where poets and philosophers let their thoughts run free.
Calico Craft Parts used:
some details
Flying skull with Angel wings + the word Potion (which I found to be a very suitable addition ;-)
I used DecoArt Crackle Glaze and Metallic Lustre 'Silver Spark' for a distressed, but shiny effect
A still life picture was glued behind the frame; to the right side stamped foil
that should look like an old mirror
that should look like an old mirror
created with DecoArt Fluid Acrylics Metallic Gold and Antiquing cream 'Patina Green'
Have a look at this amazing vintage globe! On it I only used Antiquing cream 'Titanium White'
and for the pedestal Metallic Lustre 'Gold Rush'. Some contrast lines were drawn with a brown fine tip pen
One of our latest great MDF shapes: a Flying Eye ball !
I coloured it with diluted DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics white, black and gold
side view
Atmospheric lighting creates the perfectly special
mood :-)
Thanks for your visit!
Happy crafting!
