A trio of tinies by Astrid

Hello all and thanks for dropping in!!
Today I have a project that show cases some of the wonderful Halloween and Autumn Themed Craftparts
It's a fun  little accordian mini album, that uses the lovely ATC Wood Blanks as substrate.
I'll give you a quick run down on how I put it together:
I had several gelli plate prints that I had made previously, using some wonderful Decoart paints and a variety of stencils.
I chose one that I liked and added some more stencilling.
I cut them to just under 2.5 x 3.5", (I could get 3 out of a 6 x 6 print).

I had great fun embellishing with some of the gorgeous Craft Parts.

You can find all the ones that are available by following these links:
Halloween Wood Shapes
Autumnal Woodshapes
So many choices, and as you can choose them in different sizes, they are perfect for whatever project you have in mind.
Well, here's a quick look at my pages:

And some close ups:

I cut some strips from black card to use as hinges, cut up another gelli print to cover the backs, and attached a ribbon underneath the cover papers to close the book:
And that was pretty much it.... What I love about the Craft Parts is that, unlike ordinary chip board you can either embellish them, by painting, or adding crackle or whatever you fancy, like I did on the cover- or you can just leave them as they come, as I did on some of my inside pages - they look great either way I think.
Thank you for taking a look and your visit, and I hope you'll have great fun with your own Autumn creative projects.
Happy October!!

  8. Fabulous...thanks so much for the step by step. On my list of things to do. Your background is so pretty. Fun pumpkin on the cover too, can't tell if is was a die cut or the chipboard, but will check out the info you provided. Have a wonderful day.
