Halloween Dome - by Lesley

Its finally October......my most favest month!
I think all us designers would agree that the Halloween section over in the shop is superb!

I had a little glass dome in my stash which was crying out to be turned all spooky!

I by assembling the little house. I didn't glue the roof parts right together as the dome base has a little light in it, and I wanted to be able to shine out the top. I painted the house and added some random stamping.

The skulls on the front were embossed and red paint added.

The base of the dome had a thick layer of crackle paste, I added the house, the arms and skulls when it was still wet. Once it was dry, I added the paint.

The base was plain wood.....that needed to be black!

I thought I had finished....but decided to drill some holes in the skull eyes, letting out some more light. Sadly, my photography skills are a bit poo....so it was hard to get a good piccy with the light showing!

Thanks for reading,
L.x
