Upcycled Frame By Lesley

Hi everyone. Lesley here with an upcycled project for you.

This originally started out as an old picture frame! I took the glass out, and gave it a good couple of coats of gesso to prime it.

Oodles of paint was added, until I was happy with the colours.

And I added some touches of crackle glaze.

The dolls head was made out of clay and placed into an old pastry tin and then filled with glaze and glitter.

I mounted it onto three different sizes of the trefoil border shape media boards. Love these!

Between the boards and the dolls head, I sneaked in a art deco and nouveau floral ornament.

Thanks for reading.

  2. Awesome use of the old picture frame, Lesley!

And as always you have added the just perfect amount of grunge and dolls head's eeriness to it. ;)
