Hello dear creative friends!
I
know Halloween is over but this pharmacy is open all year round.
The
aches and pains do not diminish with age and
hardly anyone is spared the
trip to the apothecary.
Fortunately,
Mother Nature also provides us with plenty of effective remedies,
so
that we don't always have to try to manage with chemical cocktail
mixtures.
Drugs can be very healing, but you can also demonise them.
That were my thoughts behind this mixed media tag with a 3D shelf.
The background were done with chalky, fluid acrylic paint and sprayed on water.
The "Apothecary" word was stamped with black archival ink and highlighted with black embossing powder.
Some close up's
For my 3D shelf I used the Rectangle Shape with Notched Corners - 50 x 25 mm
that fits exactly into the Halloween Multi Frame - Winged Devil & Crypt
in size 120 x 120 mm.
For more depth I glued the
Flying Skull with Bat Wings to the Multi frame
and added two dried flowers and lichen on grey gauze
For the eternal light I used a Sizzix Thinlits cutting die from the set 'Regions beyond'
