Haunted House by Kerstin

Hello creative friends!

Have you seen our newest sensation???

It's a very awesome 3D Kit,
easy and simple to assemble and you will have such a lot of varieties to create this house,

I think not only for Halloween,
without the graveyard
it's also perfect for a wonderful romantic Christmas/ Winter house.

My fav of this house is the very amazing oriel!

Basics + Add Ons used:

Haunted House with Graveyard - MDF Wood Kit

The kit comes in 5 plates

I used paints and crackle medium from DecoArt

The very well illustrated and easy to follow assembly instructions

 can be found here

Tips & Tricks

For the roof  tiles I used a cutting die from Sizzix
(T. Holtz Alterations- Bigz Village Rooftops)

I painted them with black acrylic paint and added some texture with black home decor sand.
After drying I dry brushed them with white acrylic paint

This really awesome tree is included in the kit,
He was a little too big for what I had in mind and so I only used his branches

I split it up twice and used the 3 individual branches
and stuck them directly to the front sides and around the corner of the house

Fittingly for an old haunted house I designed the window frames:
partly broken out, with flaked off paint and mossy

Instead of the spooky tree
I was inspired to create a lamp post with a ghost
for the house yard

some details

The rear part of the house is open
so you can easily put an electric tea light in it

Pure magic!!!

I hope I could inspire you to create your own houses!
Decorating this house was such a great pleasure and a lot of fun for me!

It's an eerie eye catcher on every table or shelf.

Happy crafting!
Kerstin

You have really rocked this 3D Haunted House Kit. I love every tiny detail - the broken windows, the ghost, the spiders webs...the eerie mood you have created...it's just perfect! Definitely my favourite Halloween make I've seen so far this year (and maybe the years before ;)
